Testimonials

I have known Suzanne for over 25 years through my work as the Director of Training at Child Care Circuit, Compass for Kids and Imajine That. Suzanne began providing professional development workshops on topics that she was familiar with. The evaluations from those workshops were consistently very positive, with participants citing her knowledge of the material and her interactive presentation style as key aspects. We contracted with her to develop new workshops and CEU courses and relied on her to provide quality professional development to early childhood educators. She has had a very positive impact on the people with whom she has worked and is a valuable asset to the early childhood workforce.

Early Childhood Trainer/Consultant

Suzanne has been a dedicated and reliable facilitator for our Imajine That Compass Training for more than 20 years. She takes the time to connect with each center prior to facilitating a training to get to know the center, their needs and how the training she is facilitating will support the children they educate. Taking this time to customize her trainings has exceeded our client’s expectations and continues to have them come back to us. She has been extremely flexible and creative in developing new training topics that we are able to offer educators across Massachusetts.

I have attended 10 workshops equaling 20 hours of professional development. Suzanne’s workshops balance thought-provoking information based on current research as well as peer participation.  Her ability to make connections with participants helps build non-judgmental learning.  Each workshop recognizes the diverse learning style of its participants and provides various opportunities to participate in hands on learning.  This keeps the momentum of the workshop moving and exciting.   Her materials are inspiring.  They vary from found and upcycled materials to nature- based items.  Her literature picks for each workshop represent varied cultures, age levels, and genres.

I enjoy Suzanne’s workshops because she is kind and encouraging and allows individual creativity to enhance your workshop experience

Feedback from Workshop Participants

I really liked how Suzanne kept all the teachers engaged. I like that she wase still interested and passionate about what she does. She gave fresh curriculum ideas. I don’t know how many times I have had to sit through PD courses and just feel they are canned lectures. They are so boring, the only thing I get is professional points. Thanks, Suzanne, for giving me a feeling of renewed energy from these trainings.

One of the highlights of my job so far has been to connect with Suzanne.

The training was one of the BEST trainings I’ve had in such a LONG time. Suzanne was beyond amazing. She came fully prepared with an abundance of open-ended materials that filled up an entire classroom! She was great. She could present any training for us anytime, please!

Best presentation I have seen in ten years of working in after school programs.

We were unbelievably impressed with Suzanne’s approach, planning and the training we received. The materials she had to inspire and share with educators were remarkable! Her passion is breathtaking and appreciated in the early childhood field.

Best workshop on Autism in fifteen years of working with kids on the spectrum.

We had a great time and staff enjoyed the open conversations, the engagement and Suzanne. Having a group of women who are so diverse in culture, age and experience come together in all aspects of the training was outstanding. One of the greatest rewards was listening to the small groups. There were many statements of affirmation for each other about their work with children and families.

This was by far my best workshop ever. Suzanne was knowledgeable and worked with varying needs. She is very personable and I would recommend her to anyone.
