Supporting Families Who Have Children with Special Needs

You may be the first person to notice developmental challenges for a child in your care. When parents discover their child has special needs they go through a grieving process and find it confusing to know what to do. This workshop will focus on how to compassionately share your concerns with these families. We will also discuss specific strategies for helping children with special needs.
