Open-Ended Curriculum

What can recyclable materials, household items, and rocks have in common? They are tools for an open-ended approach to play and learning. Allowing children to use simple, everyday materials in unconventional ways supports their natural curiosity, sparks their imagination, and generates new understandings of their world. We will revisit the excitement of play for ourselves.
