You might be asking yourself, what is a loose part? Loose parts can be almost anything! Any item that can be moved, combined, taken apart, put back together….think LEGO but common objects you might find around the house or outside. Rocks, boxes, hula hoops, cushions, golf tees, buttons: the sky is the limit! Loose parts are endlessly fascinating to children who are the masters of imagination. They are usually FREE or budget friendly, often recyclable, and you’ll be amazed at what your children create with the most insignificant objects.
