Let’s Communicate! Improving Children’s Communication

How many times have you said, “Please use your words?” This workshop will focus on communication techniques that motivate children to listen and respond appropriately. Some of the concepts we will explore include acknowledging feelings, I-messages, choices, body language, setting, tone of voice, and modeling. You will also leave this workshop with specific language to use in your classroom.
