Professional Development for Early Childhood & School-Age Educators

Course Description

Most children develop a clear awareness of whether they think of themselves as boys or girls during the early childhood years. We will examine how boys and girls are socialized and stereotypical behaviors often seen in children as they develop their sense of self. We will also address the issue of children who do not seem to fall within the norm and our role in supporting and encouraging them.
