Engaging Families

Developing ways to communicate effectively with parents and build positive parent-educator relationships is vital to a child’s development. This workshop will look at strategies for optimizing school-home relationships, such as understanding the roles of parents and educators, setting the tone, building in easy opportunities for positive communication, coping with criticism, using conferences effectively, and problem solving between parents and educators.
