Art: Process versus Product Art

It’s not about the destination, the journey matters too! Cookie cutter projects that focus on the final product can cheat children of the educational and developmental enrichment that art can provide. Educators need to help children explore the creative process as well as their own creativity. Discussion will include ways to educate parents about the benefits of the process versus the product.
